“ Food is always fresh and delicious in this restaurant. I especially enjoy the soup. Very friendly atmosphere. Generous portions. For appetizer we order tacos. They're excellent. ”
“ I was brought here because it was one of the better ethnic restaurants in Shirley. I wasn't too sure what to expect. I ordered the right dish! I was pleasantly surprised at the tasty but simple skewer meal. It was a good portion that I could not even finish. We had left overs for the next day. Great price! Good service (they try really hard to speak English), large selection of beverages and tasty food. It's a pretty basic restaurant but worth supporting. ”
“ The food is excellent, the prices are even better and the service is great. A good friend of mine who happens to be from elsalvador tried it as well and loved it. Legit elsalvadorian food! ”
“ This is place is a hidden gem if your looking for Good Authentic food from El Salvador this will hit the spot. Es un tesoro escondido si busca comida buena Authentitica de El Salvador este restaurante es el lugar. ”
“ Great El Salvadorean food! Make sure to get their plantains! Delicious! And their horchata is a great drink as well! ”
“ Listen, this is a Salvadorian restaurant, so please don't go expecting to get good Mexican food (two different countries), but their pupusas are delicious. ”
“ Just bought a house in Shirley and this is the first place we ate... it really sealed the deal for us! We ordered the fish and shrimp soup with cream and it was great, with fresh cilantro, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and nice shrimp and bone-in fish. Loved it... The pupusas were great too - pretty authentic, I think, but bigger than I am used to. The horchata was very good - not too, too sweet and with cinnamon. Extremely refreshing! Skip the fast food chains down the road and go to La Jolla, because they are fresher, healthier and you are supporting a local business! ”
